ClickDose (clickdose.io / clickdose.dk) is a free web tool that helps you count injection pen clicks using your device's microphone. We are committed to keeping your data private.
What data we collect
Short answer: we do not collect personal data. Here is a detailed breakdown:
Microphone audio
When you use ClickDose, your microphone audio is processed entirely in your browser. The audio is analyzed in real time to detect pen clicks and is never recorded, stored, or sent to any server. All audio data stays on your device at all times.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused and cookieless analytics tool, hosted at analytics.gaijin.dk. Umami collects:
- Page views (which pages are visited)
- Referrer (where visitors come from)
- Browser type and country
Umami does not collect personal data, does not use cookies, and does not track you across websites. All data is aggregated and anonymous.
No accounts or personal information
ClickDose does not have user accounts, login, or any form of personal data collection. We do not ask for your name, email, or any other personal details.
Cookies
ClickDose does not use cookies. Our analytics solution (Umami) is fully cookieless.
Local storage
ClickDose may store app settings in your browser's localStorage, such as your selected pen type or sensitivity preferences. This data is stored only on your device and is never sent to any server. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Third-party services
ClickDose relies on a small number of third-party services:
- Netlify — hosts and delivers the website. Netlify's privacy policy applies for content delivery.
- Google Fonts — loads the Figtree typeface. When your browser fetches fonts, Google's privacy policy applies.
- Umami — privacy-focused, GDPR-compliant analytics. No cookies, no personal data. Hosted at analytics.gaijin.dk.
Your rights under GDPR
Since ClickDose does not collect or store any personal data, there is nothing to access, export, or delete. If you want to prevent analytics from being collected, you can use any browser ad-blocker to block the analytics script.
Children
ClickDose is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
